I think I might have to alter that recipe. I have never eaten a Twinkie and don't intend to start now. I think a nice layer of pound cake slices and some homemade whip cream would substitute nicely though.
Ah paperless.... not me, not until the state says so anyway. I'm still required to keep a hard copy for 3 years on file.
Tammy: Whatever keeps you from baking something in the hot summer .. I say, Go For It! That's MY objective anyway. As far as paperless goes, it has its good and bad points. I try ... but then it seems like someone always needs something printed anyway! You do what's necessary ...

Good morning Gene. Your post is loaded with lots of information and a broad set of topics. Well done!
Gene, Where do you get the time? I sure couldn't do all you do.

Gene - what a great and informative post. I have bookmarked the Pinterest article and I think I'll be making the strawberry twinkie dessert for our 4th of July block party. May have to add a few blueberries to make the top look like a flag, but otherwise it's perfect!
Thanks, Joe ... I try to bring some variety and fun into the mix. Glad you approve!
Bill: I'm the first to admit that I could not do what I do marketing-wise, without the help I receive from my wife that serves as my marketing assistant. I scout things out .. scribble ... and she goes from there. It definitely helps ... and we're a good team!
Ooooo ... really like the idea of adding the blueberries, Margaret. My wife found this recipe. It seems perfect for hot days .. and will be one she and our 3-yr. old grand-daughter will enjoy making together. Enjoy!

Gene, I have tried to go paperless, but sometimes so easy to pull a file, and see the paper!
I am definitely trying that Twinkies cake. Sounds delish. And, we are all about no-bake in the summer. Thanks, Gene!
Oh, I am all over that Twinkie cake idea. But, all of your information is very useful, Gene Mundt, and thanks!
Joan: I hear ya .. just when I think I've accomplished it ... I don't because someone needs something in hard copy.
Suzanne: My wife totally agrees with you! She and our grandbaby are going to make this together .. and grampa can't wait!
You're welcome, Ron! Glad you thought so. Let me know how you end-up liking that cake!
