4th of July

Thanks for the reminder, I am definitely going to do a fourth post this year and hopefully drive a bit of traffic to my blog for some of my other posts.

Thanks for all the ideas.  Completely slipped my mind that we should be blogging about everything there is to do on July 4 in our area.  

THx for the link.  My post got over 10000 clicks last year.  This year's post has close to 1800 so far.  Last year, the majority of clicks came the 2 days before and day of the event.

It's a great way to use the templates, which I didn't know existed.  AR content blog writers need to utilize the formats -- they're great!

I must be reading your mind.  I just drafted my 4th of July and I will most likely post it tomorrow.

I remember one of my first post was about balloon ride on 4th of July (because then, I just wanted to write something!) Now there are templates and images are also offered - so why not? I'll try this time.

Thanks for the information.  I am going to write one this year!  Never would have thought the 4th would get so many hits.

This year's got slightly over 20,000 clicks.  The post benefitted a bit due to rain dates and I made a bunch of changes due to that the last couple of days (and comments from regular people providing updates).

I need to figure out if there is anyway to capitalize on this local traffic for next year.

funny you should mention this as we do one each year.

Google analytics does show that it pulls traffic.
