Mortgage and Lending with George Souto NMLS #65149 FHA, CHFA, VA Mortgages NMLS #65149

Tomorrow is the First Annual New London, CT In Water Boat Show, which is surprising given the amount of water frontage New London has, as well as being one of the main harbors between Connecticut and Long Island.  The New London, CT In Water Boat Show will be located right behind the downtown train station on the City Pier and Waterfront Park.

The In Water Boat Show consist of in water displays, booths, and boat dealers.  There will also be three Harbor Lighthouse Tours which will include the:

  • Pequot Lighthouse
  • Ledge Lighthouse
  • Avery Point Lighthouse

The Harbor Lighthouse Tours are 1 hour long, and will begin every hour starting at 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Harbor Lighthouse Tour boats will only accommodate 6 passengers per trip, so those planning on going on one of the tours should make reservations ahead of time by call (860) 912-6814 or e-mail nlharborlight@gmail.com.

All profits from the In Water Boat Show will go to the New London Maritime Society Lighthouse Restoration Fund.  The First Annual New London, CT In Water Boat Show sounds like an excellent event, and an opportunity to say you were there for the fist one.

George, that should be a fun time especially for the size of that harbor. Will your little boat be on display as well or did you give the crew the weekend off?

George, boat shows are always fun especially drooling over the super yachts that otherwise you wouldn't be able to see this close up!  I would love to go on the lighthouse tours, there is something so reassuring about them.

George,

I can't think of a better way to introduce tourists and people thinking about relocating to CT than a Harbor Lighthouse Tour. This was a GREAT idea! I love when a community strives to achieve prosperity. It's all for the greater good!

Lisa you may be right about that

Ed I was a good guy this weekend and gave them the weekend off ..... LOL

Joe I am sure you will enjoy it if you do.

Silvia I love looking at those big yachts also, the are gorgeous.

Dorie it sounds like a great time to me as well.

Joan now that is a picture I would LOVE to see, you tearing up the water on a jet ski :)

Patricia New London is always trying to show off the harbor area, and they do a great job of doing that.

Nick I would love to be able to have a waterfront property with a dock for a boat.  I bet she really enjoys that property and boat.
