The Holy Grail for Blogging: Spell Check

By
Real Estate Agent

I have been blogging for a couple of weeks now, and my favorite thing on here is Spell Check! Seriously, it's a life saver!

In Real Estate, we all have to appeal to the looks. The looks of the home, the looks of our websites', and the looks of our writing. When it comes to our writing, which could be anything from contracts to blog posts, we have to make sure there are no mistakes.

Spell Check is the answer.

We aren't perfect. We also don't know every single word out there. With that said, we don't know how to spell every single word out there. So they created spell check. Yay!

When it comes to writing, we know what we want to say and we know how to say it, most of the time. I, myself, can't spell to save my life! So when it comes to creating contracts and writing blog posts, I have spell check to help save me!

When you have misspelled content, it looks very unprofessional. It also comes off a bit tacky. Real Estate agents are always personified as being perfect. As in we must look the part, act the part, and live the part. So having misspelled a word, doesn't work well with that picture perfect image.

Anyways, that's just my two-cents on the topic!

Remember, double check that spelling!

Having been through the "dark days" of ActiveRain and migration of servers, content, etc. I write my posts in WordPerfect and then copy and paste to AR...gives me 2X to spell check.....there and their are still hard for some

Hi Joy,

You are exactly right as spellcheck is so important as we do not want to look stupid and with the internet, once it is there, you cannot edit the spelling. You have been busy posting on your blog and I know you will be a wonderful blogger and a great asset to ActiveRain.
