With aphorisms, or quotations, always try to find the opposite of the one you hear to know most often that the world REALLY is not as black and white as some of these foo foo Tony Robbins motivational speakers would lead you to believe. I see things naturally in a contrarian way so when the speaker loudly proclaims that the early bird gets the worm, I think, but the second mouse gets the cheese. That has been true with new inventions, often the second developer seizes on the mistakes of the pioneer and comes out the winner in the marketplace.
Today I would like to focus on idle minds are the devil's workshop. And ask you to think...
Are You Wasting Enough Time?
The time management gurus would have you think unless every minute of your day is planned out YOU ARE NOT PRODUCTIVE. There is something to that, and not having kids on the street getting into mischief or crime. But the flip quotation is:
"Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time."
It is for play, creativity, LETTING THE MIND UNWIND. Don't guilt trip yourself in the wasted time zone, but enjoy it, and like all things in life, things in moderation.
