Where: Frazier Farms, 20175 Manecke Road, Brooksville.

Fresh corn, live music, games, food, and fun for the entire family is coming to Frazier's Farm in Brooksville on June 28th. The farm has long been known among insiders for it's delicious fresh corn and with this corn festival, and together with the Hernando County 4-H Club it will celebrate this delicious and healthy golden crop.

There will be several contests including a "corn launcher tournament", a corn home tournament, and other games. For those who are hungry, a BBQ of ribs and chicken with all the trimmings will be available from 11 am on.

Wear sturdy shoes for the festival as this will take place on uneven terrain. You can preregister for the contests and preorder BBQ tickets by calling the number above. Don't forget your camera and bring some extra cash to take home some fresh corn on the cob!

Silvia, I've been craving fresh corn on the cob. Today, I finally found organic tri-color corn. I bought one and plan to make a meal of it. Corn is by far my favorite vegetable. No doubt this will be a fun event!
