Another Garden On Tour In Ontario, Oregon

The Lawrence garden on Dorian Drive in Ontario was the second home I visited on the 1st Annual TVCC Foundation Garden Tour on Saturday.  Now, this garden was completely different from anything else on the tour, and it was absolutely captivating!  This garden featured cactus, agave, yucca and other non-cold hardy succulents in pots (lots of pots!) on the patio, where it was nice and sunny.  Then there are cold-hardy plants in the ground in the garden as part of the year-round landscaping.  The ones in pots are taken into the garage every winter.  Here are a few of the highlights:

What a beautiful example of landscaping that fits in so well in our high desert area!  My thanks to the Lawrence's for sharing their wonderful garden with the rest of us!

Tomorrow, I will share photos of the Skeesuck waterfall garden, also on Dorian Drive in Ontario.
