Each Month Celebrate a Decade Gone By With Rates From $109 And a Retro Line-Up of Summer Fun
This summer, flashback to summers past at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix where guests can enjoy rates from $109 that include access to a special summer line-up of poolside games, family activities, live entertainment and dining inspired by the hippest trends of the past.
Starting May 23 and running through Sept. 1, each month the resort will celebrate a decade gone by – starting with a celebration of all things 1950s in May, a flashback to the 1960s and 1970s in June, a tribute to the 1980s in July, and a short trip back to the 2000s in August.
Every day at the resort’s four-acre River Ranch water park, hourly poolside activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. will entertain all ages. Guests can enjoy favorites like tug of war and scavenger hunts, and throwback fun like Twister, hula hoop contests and hop scotch. Each Friday night, families can cool off with a dive-in movie highlighting favorite films from the past, such as the 1950s-era “Old Yeller” and the original “Alice In Wonderland” playing in May.
Guests can also step back into time with a fun line-up of spa offerings at the resort’s Tocasierra Spa created to celebrate the best decades of the past with a special menu of themed hairstyles, nail services and more. The resort’s three restaurants will also offer special menu items and drinks that embrace the era of the month. Kids ages 4 to 12 can also take advantage of other generation-themed crafts, activities and special programming when participating in the resort’s Coyote Camp kids program, which offers half- and full-day programs, as well as evening programs.
