Bellingham WA Driver Beware, I-5 Construction April-May 08' According to WSDOT, drivers in Bellingham, WA can expect many delays on the I-5 corridor April/ May 2008 according to the published article approximately 80,000 drivers use I-5 every day through Bellingham. The first weekend-long closure is scheduled for April 11 through April 14. I-5 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for three miles. Lanes will close at 10 p.m. Friday and reopen at 6 a.m. Monday.
