I can't help myself: this is a real addiction. Everywhere I go they are selling plants and I find myself coming home with some. Perhaps this addiction comes from my inability to work in the garden, or around my property last year. I'm not sure but I do know I am obsessed. I don't know the names of the species but I do know the difference between a perennial and the the numerous annuals I place around. This morning I brought nine plants home, one old iron wheel, and a really large rock. My beautification project is in full swing.Enjoy your day.
How wonderful that you have this new addiction. But just like furniture in a room, gardens can become cluttered so make sure you have a plan!
Sheila:
Sounds like you are having fun. Keep it up bet the yard looks great.
Oh I hear you. I love working in the yard and being creative. It actually has saved many peoples lives because it is a great stress reducer for me.
Good afternoon friends and thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and offering your support: I really appreciate it. This will either cure me or kill me.
Hello Joanna. I laughed when I read your comment, because I never ever want of "those" gardens and thought that more than once but my yard is more open and unusual than most with random beds on sides and odd places. It looks like it is wild but that is my plan. I have plants in the tress, in an old wagon , on a really old sled, in buckets and on the deck. It's interesting and gives me a lot of pleasure. If you call me when you come up you can see for yourself.
Hi Alan. I am exhausted and working hard but it does look good and I really love looking at it. A fun challenge for sure. Thank you.
Hello again Liz. You are absolutely right and i enjoy it so much as well. there is no stress in the garden only creativity and really hard work. I haverocky soil filled with roots, so it is a chalenge. That said...it's all good.
Thanks all.
Sheila
Hi Sheila.... I love to see beautifully groomed grounds with raised beds and gardens...but my preference is to have someone else do it!!!! not my thing.
Hi Barbara. It wasn't my thing for a long time either. I have a landscaper who mows and does mulch, and he is the weeder, but I enjoy the plants and get satisfaction from the process. Thanks for stopping by. Sheila
Flowers make me smile and tend to lift me up Sheila, my husband is the green thumb however. Grabbing the camera comes next so I can have something to look back on when my memory fails to recall their beauty!
Hi Wanda. Funny you should say that. I just took some more pictures too. Enjoy the evening.
