Pic’s from the Pond 2

Last week I shared a story and a few pictures from our duck-less duck pond at the Cadott office of Woodland Management Service, and today we will continue with a few more.

As I mentioned last week, in the 15 years since we dug these ponds we have not seen any ducks yet, but Nicks game camera seems to be catching a few of the other wild creatures that spend time here.

More Whitetail Deer, this time at night, which is generally when they are most active around here.
I was a little surprised to see these thanksgiving treats in my yard, generally we see these fellows closer to the oak forests or the corn fields.

If you missed last weeks “Pic’s from the Pond” post then this would be a good time to check it out and see a few more of the wildlife that spends time in our yard.

Bob- I wish we'd had the game camera when Larry was on his hunting lease down in South Texas.  It would be fun just to see them at night.

Bob, when my ex and I lived in Virginia, we had a family of about 13 white tail deer that lived in the wooded area behind our house.  We had an acre on Powhatan Creek which feeds into the James River.  It is amazing to watch them.

Hi Bob... When I look at your pictures I often wonder if we live on the same planet... I must say that I love the look of your planet...  I did see a deer on the road the other day but that may be the first time I've seen one in 20 or more years... Maybe one of these days I can talk Rich into taking a trip to your PLANET... CAUSE IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL... Happy Day

Cool pictures, and eventually the ducks will come, if you build (which you did), you know the rest.  A
