i also have a contractor coming to give a bid on fixing this...or to tell us to tear it down.
That's pretty scary, William, especially that many. We used to see these in basements back in New England pretty often. Some looked like they had been there for decades

Wow William, talk about a home settling. That is really unreal. I have heard of a couple of inches being jacked up but this is a first for me.
Most of these issues can be fixed, but the question is always how much and if it's worth it.
I wonder if this is who bought my old jack. Do you think this is a DIY project.
I would be running out of there as fast as I could. With any luck I will make it before it collapses.
I agree with Randi. That is so scary. I wouldn't even want to be in that property, Bill!
That does look terrifying. I'm sure just about anything can be fixed, but the cost to do so might not justify it. I'm guessing tear down will be the answer.
