Back in Time or Fast Forward to the Future?

I believe that we all have thoughts at times about the possibility of going back in time or making a trip to the future.  I know I do and it's a common plot in books and movies.

All of us have made decisions and have had things happen that we wish we could undo.. would going back allow us to undo that decision and if we did, would that path then lead to more forks in the road that we would later regret?    If we could back the whole country up, could we avoid the housing market crash of a few years ago?

Maybe a jump to the future for a visit would be a good way to affect our current deicisons.. if we could jump back to where we are.. based upon what we found, would be able to change it with good decisions now..

I wonder how housing will change .. what will it look like 100 years from now and what will the median house price be in Southeast Oklahoma..  will my decendents be real estate agents, or will that career choice no longer exist?

I don't see that these kind  of ponderings are  helpful in what I need to do today.. but they're kind of neat to roll around at times.  Questions, Questions,  Questions.. I guess that's all they'll ever be since as far as I know time machines only do exist in the movies and electronic games..

But.. Which way would you go if you could.. back to the past, or forward to the future OR maybe you'd decide to stay right here!

It's in an interesting question. I think I'd stay right here, and use my past experiences to direct my future. Thanks for sharing.

Real estate professionals need to be focused on change and the future or risk being left behind. What we have excelled with in the past may no longer meet minimum standards.

That's a tough question!  I think travelling either way would be fun as long as we were assured to come back to this same spot in time and space.

Susan,

You're enjoying the moment.  That's a good feeling.

Joe,

There's nothing like experience to help us make good decisions.

Roy,

Now there's  an answer.. so you'd go into the future for a visit?

Georgie,

That's would have to be a condition!  Maybe take a trip back and then one forward.. we'd have a lot of insight at that point.
