When Churches Looked Like Churches

church

The image my mind congers up is a small pretty white frame church with stain glass windows and a bell tower topped off with a cross. I guess my "perfect church" imagery comes from being raised in the south and visiting family still living in rural areas of East Texas. My vision was of a simpler time in our history when families had dinner together every night and said the blessing. A time of family reunions and picnics complete with buckets of homemade lemonade, pies and kids playing while the adults sit around and visited. When many families would gather at family cemeteries on Sunday afternoon to keep the grounds and headstones of loved ones neat and tidy.

First Baptist Church in Katy has my childhood church in front of the larger main church, and it is named the church steepleBolin Chapel. Everything about this Church Chapel is perfect to me, from its all white frame exterior, hardwood floors, and stain glass windows inside, to the gardens with benches, waterfalls and stream leading into a fish and Lilly pond in the back outside. Yes it has the white bell steeple complete with gleaming cross on top too. The bell is rang on Sunday, for weddings and other special occasions, and you can hear the sweet sound for miles around. You do not have to be a member of the Church to use the Chapel.

The history of First Baptist Church of Katy dates back to November 20, 1898 when they had their first meeting, it was then named Zion Baptist Church. They gathered in a one-room Katy Schoolhouse with several other denominations. The Baptist congregation changed its name to Katy Baptist Church in 1914 and erected its own building at a cost of $1,380. Finally, the name First Baptist Church of Katy, Texas was chosen by the members on December 9, 1948. The membership swelled to more than four thousand and the church relocated to a site just south of the original building as it celebrated its centennial in 1998. A white frame chapel was erected at the new site as a reminder of the first building and the original and continuing vision of the church. The First Baptist Church of Katy celebrated its 102nd birthday by dedicating a State of Texas Historical Marker on November 19, 2000.

History of the Bolin Chapel

In 1998 the First Baptist Church relocated from its original location to its new site at 600 Pin Oak Road. During the process members decided to pulpit with raised landing behind & beautiful cusom designed stained glass windows, built in the 19th century Gothic traditionbuild a replica (with some variations) of the original church. They decided on the white framed building in the same 19thCentury Gothic tradition as churches in the early 1900's. The chapel was completed in 1999 and dedicated to Tom and Joy Bolin in October of that year. The chapel was built by volunteer s of the First Baptist Church and the Katy Community. The estimated cost was $100,000, with the majority of materials being donated, including the bell that now hangs in the bell tower. The chapel seats approximately 100 people on its 16 superb hand-made wooden pews. Each pew has a wooden holder for the Baptist Hymnals. Another feature is an exquisite hand-crafted wooden pulpit with a cross formed on it. Behind the pulpit is a large raised plat form area with a set of three stunning custom designed stained glass windows. A picturesque setting for a wedding and other special events. The floors throughout the Chapel are a warm gleaming stained wood. The matching windows on both sides of the Chapel are made with rippled glass as in many Church buildings of that era, which give it an authentic look. On either side of the pulpit is an antique organ and piano that were donated by church member. There is a prayer room, with a second entrance from the garden area dedicated to Mrs. Edna Mae Fielder, who also has an elementary school in Cinco Ranch named after her. At the front of the Chapel off the entrance is a nice size front room for a dressing area, perfect for the bride to get ready in. On the opposite side are the ladies and gents rooms. The chapel is used for weddings, Sunday School classes, prayer gatherings, funerals and many other functions. You do not have to be a member of the church to use the Bolin Chapel. Everything about the Bolin Chapel is pleasing, warm and welcoming, a place you want to linger.

Centennial Courtyard

The grounds outside the chapel are just as welcoming and inviting, planted with trees, plants, and flowers. inside churchThere is a waterfall fountain that becomes a stream ending in a pond filled with fish and water Lillys. A walkway leads from the chapel to the centennial courtyard that has over 500 bricks. Each brick was ordered by people in the church and community and inscribed with names and dates. There are wooden benches placed in a circular pattern around the bricked courtyard. You can set and enjoy the gardens. A tranquil spot to pray, reflect, dream and relax. The Texas State Historical Marker was placed here in the Centennial Courtyard also. On the historical marker is an outline of the history of First Baptist Church Of Katy, which celebrated its 102nd birthday by dedicating the marker on November 19, 2000. As of this date the church is 110 years old, lots of history to reflect on.

Tom and Joy Bolin

grounds out side First Baptst Church in Katy TX are just as welcoming as inside the Chapel, water falls, Lilly pond, courtyard with benches ++I had the pleasure of speaking with Tom Bolin before writing this story. I mentioned it must have been quite an honor to have a chapel named after you, and his response was, "It was both humbling and shocking". Tom was very kind to have provided me with lots of information about the Church and Chapel. This is a quote from the Bolin Chapel Dedication, "On this day, October, 1999, we, the First Baptist Church of Katy, Texas, do enthusiastically and gratefully dedicate the Bolin Chapel to the glory of God and in honor of His faithful servants, Tom and Joy Bolin. May God richly bless the hearts of the countless people who will congregate, celebrate, and worship in this beautiful building, and may we forever learn from, and be inspired by, the selfless service and dedication of the Bolin's." In speaking with Tom I also learned that he and his wife Joy moved to Katy shortly after I did. I opened my Real Estate office on Mason Rd. @ I-10 in 1977, and Tom and Joy Bolin moved to Katy the same year. Tom has served as Minister of Education and Administration and Minister to Senior Adults along with many other responsibilities. He and Joy have been an integral part of the church for all these years.

Relaxing in the garden you can read some of the history of the First Baptist Church Of Katy and The Bolin Chapel. To quote another church pamphlet,

"Perhaps generations to come will stand in the Centennial Courtyard, observe the Historical Marker and the simple wooden chapel and be reminded of the original settlers and their vision. That vision, the growth of God's work in this community, has passed down through the years to their generation."

For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endureth to all generation. Psalms 100:5

Liz - What a beautiful setting with this church and landscape; makes it peaceful. This is what a churche should look like. We do have so much history here in Texas and is evident this church has had some good caretakers to keep this church in this condition. Thank you so much for sharing.

I like the way you placed your pictures into your story. I hope someday to be able to do the same with my photo's. Your HI in training (heeeheee)

Hey RI, it is a wonderful church and setting...wish I knew someone about to get married, it's perfect for that.  The size, the layout and the beauty of it, all would make a perfect place to get married.  Read that post I sent you, and you can do it now, it's really easy once you know how to set the application part when entering them.  The boarder part does not work yet, AR is supposed to be working on that.  Liz

Hi Christina and Kevin, i think they are all great, and glad I'm not having to judge them!  Good luck, Liz

Very nice Liz,  This is a beautiful church and I love the stained glass and the hardwood floors.  This is the kind of church I grew up in as well.  It always made a lot of noise when you walked and we tried to tiptoe not to disturb anyone. :)  Funny how things have changed.

Hey this is what I think of, an a church I would like to go to...I've been out of organized "going to church" for awhile.  If they had a regular service in this one I would go, but they use the big one, (the one in the back on the watercolor).  They are all so big now.  Funny the things that come back to you.  I lost my cat tonight, Thor, so I very sad.  I had her for 20 years, she was a great cat.  She has not been well for a few months and I'm at the lake, and the cat sitter called me ad she was laying in the floor and would not eat, and her kidneys had failed.  I called my sister and niece and they went over and took her to the vet, and I talked to her over the phone the whole time, all the way up to the last second when they put her to sleep.  I believe that God has our pets in heaven, and she is up there playing now, like she did as a kitty, and feeling frisky.  Trying to not keep thinking about having to put her to sleep without me being there with her, it's very hard, and very sad.  This all happened about 3:30 and I ended up crying myself to sleep.  She was a beautiful animal and a good friend, not like a cat at all, so much personality, and acted like she really loved me, more like a dog does.  Trying to find a picture of her before she got sick, but here is one I took last week.  She doesn't look that bad in this photo, but you could feel every little bone in her body, and of course she could not see.  She was still getting around pretty darn good for being 20.  I feel so guilty I was up here at the lake and not with her at the end to hold her.  This is Thor, my beloved friend for the last 20 years.  Liz

Thor used to be coal black, but her hair started turning grey and on her chest a reddish tint, really kinda all over.  She was so regal, and as a kitty would fetch like a dog, her favorite was the foil that ding dongs are wrapped in.  She bat them all over the house, we would roll them up and toss them for her.  We have lived in our home now for 16 years and when we moved I found bags of ding dong wrappers in some of the weirdest places, and I'm a neat freak.  She loved laying out on the back patio in the sun were it was warm.  God I'm gonna miss my kitty, and hate I was not the one to have been holding her and comforting her at the end.  When my cat sitter got to the house this afternoon Thor was just laying on the floor and would not/could not even get up, she tried to feed her some food and water by hand and she couldn't even take that.  I called my sister and niece and they went right over, we all live close.  I stayed on the phone while them and Thor trying to see if anything changed, but it didn't and I called my vet but he was about to go into a surgery and could not get over to my house so they wrapped her up and took her there, which is only about 5 min. away.  I was going to leave and try to get back to Katy, it's about 3 hours from the lake.  Brad who is my vet and has always come to my home, she hated the car, so for the last couple of years I've had him come to the house so she didn't get stressed out.  Anyway he said she was really dehydrated and he could put her on on I-V of fluids and she might make it a couple of days or weeks, at least i could have gotten there, but my sister and niece said they did not think it was a good ideal, and she was so sick, that i shouldn't make her suffer anymore, so they held the phone to her ear for me again to keep talking to her while Brad put her to sleep.  Sandra said she was very calm and did not more, but when I talked to her she would respond more and she knew I was there...I hope she did.  My heart aches.

Liz - So sorry, this is the first blog Ceil and I are reading this morning. Ceil has tears from reading your blog. We went through this with a cocker spaniel and it is like loosing a familly member. They absolutely do have a place in your heart. Be thankful for such wonderful memories. Don't wait too long before you have another friend to take Thor's place. You'll be surprised how quickly the new friend will fit in and find a place in your heart.

Hello my friends, thank you very much for your thoughts.  It's been a tough couple of days, and I'm pretty wiped out.  Believe it or not I'm on my way to bed and it's only 11:00 PM...more tomorrow.  Liz

PS, just wanted everyone to know that I am removing myself from the contest for the points.  After thinking about it, even through we have outside judges, Gena Riede and Lucky Lang.  I decided since I am in charge of the group with Marchel, it would be like taking my own gift.  This is something that we wanted to do for YOU GUYS, to help grow the group, keep it strong and bring everyone together more.  So good luck to the other seven contestants.  We should have the winners by tomorrow and I will announce them, so stay turned.  Liz

Hi Liz - I came back here to honor Thor, your wonderful companion of many years. I was so touched by your story about him. Your descriptive words like "coal black" and "regal" and "reddish tint" on his chest later on... so very much like THOR, the Nordic, red-haired character of strength and thunder.

And what a wonderful write-up about this historical church. I began reading it the other day, and my mind drifted off to a tiny, historical church in Tiburon, Ca... Old St. Hillary's... that holds a bittersweet story of one of the happiest days of my life... so, my mind drifted away, and I left my computer and I went to make coffee...Today I finished reading about the Tom Bolin Chapel... with beautiful, handmade mews... May God give his angels charge over all of the spaces we form in gratitude and inspiration and blessing--- in our hearts, our homes, our churches...

Liz, I am astounded at the beauty of the church. I am so sorry about the loss of your kitty. It's so hard when they become family members like that. And, it had to be tough on you having to say goodbye by phone...although she knew you were there.

Thor is fine and dandy now! You were a great mom and she lived a wonderful life. Thor would love for you to get another kitty (or two) to love. They can help heal your heart (since Thor is fine) and they really do need a home.

What is our lives without reciprocal love?

Big hug,

Deb

The building is beautiful, but what caught my eye is when you said "when churches LOOKED like churches." A church is not a building. It's the people in it, without them it is nothing but a building. We are the church and temple of God, and his word say's where more than one gather in his name he is there. In the old testiment the first churches were in homes.  The point is you can have a group of people in a house or anywhere and that can still be church.  A church does not need walls.

God bless

Me too Ms. Liz. I like the simple life.

Almost time to start enjoying full time. Here I live at this beautiful, beautiful lake and also almost in the country on this 4.3 acres and never have time to enjoy. Something is seriously wrong with this picture. I think me and my lord need to have a serious discussion. But then I would have to leave our fun group. Ho, hum maybe I'll stay awhile longer.

Hey guys Carlis just pulling our chain...since he don't have one in that there shower, ROFLMAO!  It really was'nt that funny, but it broke me up, just in a silly mood.  Sorry I got here late, believe or not I had to work again, guess they're never gonna let me retire :).  I am so up set, I had taken 600 pictures and lost them, yes, lost them.  I hit something before I should have and I had already deleted them from my camera.  I had about 6 blogs in that bunch.  So my sister and I are off tomorrow to get at least my wildflower pictures but the other are lost forever.  They were at the lake with the azaleas blooming, the kids at Easter, etc.

So when your putting your pictures on your computer, DON'T REFORMAT THE CAMERA UNTIL YOU KNOW YOU HAVE THE SAVED ON THE COMPUTER.  EXPENSE LESSON.  Liz

Liz - Believe me after working down on the ranch at South Texas in 110 degree weather, fighting the rattlesnakes and red dirt in your teeth we were glad to be able to rinse off at the end of the day. Believe it on not it worked pretty good. We now have a "real" shower but that one was great when we needed it to survive.

It's called roughing it over here in our part of the country. You city folks just can't appreciate the outdoors and getting back to nature. It's good for the soul.

Sorry you lost your pictures, wish that was all I lost. I think I've lost my mind, can't remember where I left my cell phone.

Sorry, I didn't get here last night for the party -- guess there wasn't one.  I was at a "live" party.  Got home late but did check in here before I went to bed.  I worked for about an hour today.  Met a client to have him initial changes on his contract.  We now have an accepted contract!!!  Will have it receipted by title company tomorrow, inspect the property on Thurs. afternoon and close around May 23.  Took the rest of the day off.  Haven't had a day off in awhile.  And the next 3 weeks and weekends are all busy!

Ms. Judi, glad you are going to get a little rest before getting busy on the BBQ and rest of life.  Anytime you want a lot of business plan a vacation, same thing, business starts rolling in from everywhere.  I went to Round Top today with my sister and Mr. Rhett Butler, so I got a bunch of great wildflower shoots to replace those that I lost.  Of course the rest of them...oh well.  I sure learned an important and expensive lesson, and will never re formate my camera till I'm sure I've got the pictures on the computer!  Which I'm about to do now.  Chow Liz

Carl, Miz Liz had a prior committment to go to Scottsdale for some Real Estate classes.  She really does need to go to that.  We'll just stop by her office and visit on our way over to Lake Charles.  We can stop for a lunch break, visit with her and be on our way to Lake Charles.

Liz, I am really looking forward to this wedding.  Let me know how I can help.  Hmmm, maybe a Wedding Shower, or I could be a brides maid.  Although leading Ms. Molly down the aisle to the altar could be hazardous, but then so would be following her...

Wonder what you get the Longhorn Bridal Couple for a wedding gift?  Off to a Farm & Ranch website to look for wedding gifts. . .  roflmao

Oh well, I might as well go along for the ride; gotta wait to see what they come up with; they will have all 80,000 people participating in this here Texas Size  Wedding on AR.

Carl, you need to talk to the couple and tell them they need to set a wedding date.

Judi - Had two in Wimberly today. Had a little time between inspections. The second was a very very old house that had been moved from Austin years ago. Built about 1939 and moved to Wimberly in 1971; took awhile to inspect.

Have a few more comments to make and need to get on my reports.

Have a nice evening.

Well Ms. Judi & Carl, my friends I have exciting news :)...but I'm gonna make you wait HE HE!  Is this the perfect place for us to be making our engagement plans, on the church post, or what? (yes Carl, now with mind & cell) we have to have an engagement announcement, then the wedding plans.  I have found such cool thing for Tex and Ms. Molly, I do hope they and yall approve?

I think the flower themes should be blue bonnets?  What say you Ms. Judi, Carl, Candy, Ricki, Dale, Marchel?  Oh I guess we should let them know they are in the wedding planning...or do yall want to just kep all the fun for just us three and we of course will invite them to the wedding? Then I found the blue Texas shaped lolly pops, we could have as one of the party favors :)cakeflowers

And now...are you both ready... The wedding cake for Ms. Molly and Tex :) cake& 2 grooms cakes to pick from

cake
Still so much to find and pick out, what to wear, the music, the rest of the flowers, sending out announcements, a band, someone to do the wedding vows, a ring bearer, Oh and very important...were?  Since it all kinda got started here, what out the little white Chapel?  It hold 100 people...oh I wish you guys were up, it's so much more fun.  I found some of their friends too that want to come, if it's OK with Carl of course, since he's kinda stole Tex away from me.  Speaking of that Carl, did you take him to the car wash and get him all cleaned up??
longhornsSpeaking of the guestsI think I hear them thundering down the road, gotta also find a place for all their friends to stay too.  Lot of stuff to do!  I'm so excited.  So Now for the part I made you wait on...IA'M COMING TO BANDARO FOR THE BBQ mouth
Do yal think we should keep it a secerat and keep it from Ricki?
Let me know, if you want me to tell her or not?
Keep you thinking hats on and we can just bring all the stuff here, or maybe I should write the engagement announcement and we can do everything on that post, which would yall prefer?  Liz     I'm so excited about the wedding, but even more about getting to meet you :)   Miss Liz

Miz Liz, you have been a very busy lady!  I love the blue bonnets for the wedding bouquet,  The cake -- well, how in the world did you find it?  It's perfect!!!   I'll let the guys pick the grooms cake -- hmm, they're both great!!!  Guess I'm partial to the "lone star" Texas shaped one.   I was thinking the little white chapel was THE place to have the wedding.  hmmm, nice of you to contact some of their friends to attend the wedding -- I'm sure a nice pasture somewhere around Katy or Sealy would be perfect for their friends to stay.  I'll stay at one of the hotels in Katy (not far from Katy Mills).  Hmmm, I'll see if Miss Molly wants to go out shopping with me to pick out some china, cystal, etc.  Mr. TEX can't come with us because from what I understand there's nothing worse than -- "a bull in a china shop"!!!!!   ROFLMAO   oooohhhh, Miz Liz, we need wedding music too!!!   I have a few suggestions -- I'll see if I can find them.   Blue Texas shaped lollipops????

I'm sooooo excited that you're coming to Bandera for the Gathering!!!!   I think the cat's out of the bag though -- once Miss Ricki reads these comments....she'll be excited too!!!!    :)

Liz - Maybe we should have a site dedicated to TEX & MS Molly since this will evolve into a "true story" in the lives of TEX & MS MOLLY with the TEXAS REAL ESTATE GROUP. Will be fun for all new members to be able to read and understand the history of our special couple.

We may want to write a book and all become rich and famous.

Suggestion - We need to have a specific place for all of us to meet on Saturday night. Send out invites maybe  to let everyone know to join in the "Saturday Nigh Live" for drinks at Ms. Liz Place. Just so we will know a specific place to meet if anyone is around on Saturday night and wants to meet at Ms. Liz's. That way everyone can get it their calendar. Maybe we need a calendar of events.

Howdy my friends and fellow wedding planers,

Carlthat is perfect!  i vote to wear the pistol...who knows we might need it to control this bunch, especially Dale, speaking of which, WERE ARE YOU DALE?  Ceil, were is your outfit?  I'll be back to show yall mine  I found some rings that I think or better, I like the silver, what do yall think?ring

Judi, leave it to you to think about needing someone to bring up the rear, as well as a flower girl, oh my god...what a visual ROTFLMAS, since Dale hasn't bothered to show up to help yet, I vote for him!  Also needed is a "limo", so I went out and rented this for the wedding, and they can use it to get to their honeymoon too.  It's a Ford from around 1948 (the year I was born) :)

Ford trackto vintage 1948                                                                              Yes I agree we need a special place to meet, and let everyone know were to go, there is so much to do.  Everybody can bunk at my house, I've got tons of room, and should we let Tex & Miss Mollyshare a pasture before the vows are over or not???  I vote to letum be together, life is just too short, so why not let um have some fun!

We can make a list this weekend on what all needs to be done and assign to different people.  I'll write a post for everyone to come to and feature it, so itwill be easy to find...I can do that, I the "button lady", or "star lady", along with Marchel, but I'm sure she wont mind...what do yall think, will that work?  And we need a title for it???? Remind me to tell yal the joke about the "Butter Lady"

Very excited about meeting everyone, and very happy finally decided to come to the BBQ.  Judi, I think the bread pudding did it for Bill, so make sure to bring lots, I gotta get one to go for Bill agreeing to drive that far so I can meet all my new friends.  Liz

Ok, we'll be looking for your post -- post it in the Lone Star Group too -- I'll feature it there too.  The joke about the "Butter Lady" ????   Hmmmm, I'm curious, I'll tell Don to remind me to remind you. . . hehehe

Ohhhh, another bread pudding lover!!!   Ok, ok, I'll bake plenty.  Maybe I should just bring bread pudding and forget the pecan pies -- but ohhhh, you'd be sorry you missed the  pecan pies!!!

Seems the "wedding planners" were busy while I was sleeping.

I think Judi should come up the rear with the "pooper scooper". I found a really nice broom and bucket depending on the "decor" of the chapel; we may need somthing more "rustic".

I like that, the wedding planners.

Carl, Carl, Carl,  You know I'm NOT going up the rear!!!   I'll lead them down the aisle but I'm not following.  I'm a city girl but I used to go to the family farm when I was little and I remember walking in the fields trying to avoid those "patties"!!!    Going up the rear is for you and/or Dale!!!  Real cowboys!!!

Ms. Judi..."before I was born", now that's just wrong!  I might have to come up with a new name for you Missy!  Oh and yes pecan pies please (but that won't make up for the above...I love pecan pies!  Yall didn't say any thing about the tractor for the wedding, I thought it was perfect.

Carl, Carl, Carl, remember we are putting Dale in charge of the "back of the wedding party" duty, due to his lax attitude in being part of "The Wedding Planners" :).

Yes we need a special post for this, will be the first thing I do after the BBQ and we will feature it here and Lone Stare.

i'm either curious or idiotic by asking this, but...why are there so many churches in such a small town???  maybe i'm thinking from a "city-boy" perspective but i assumed that a handful of large churches would be more than enough to host the majority of the people. this bolin chapel looks small, almost 'cute,' so are there are a lot of large churches there too?

I found out recently that Dale is great at floral arrangements, he did this for a few years. I think Dale should drive the Tractor. I guess that leaves me as the pooper scooper since no one else wants to do it. I will need some "knee high boots". Maybe we need to "forget" someone coming up the rear. Please, please find another job for me; anything but that.

Liz - You know I am an honest man, so I'mgoing to be honest, I don't like your outfit. You need to look like an Anne Oakley...don't take "no bull" off no one type. Maybe Judi can be a look alike for Dale Evans, you can tell I use to watch alot of cowboy and western movies when I was growing up.

Did you all notice that Rhett Butler had a diamond collar?  So glad you brought Rhett to the BBQ so we could meet Rhett.

  • The Reception (tractor and horses are the choice of transportation) or limo's?

Hey Judi - Were you in the shadows watching me write my comments? You are right, we need to have the "planning party first". Maybe we can meet at Ms. Liz's sometime over the weekend. Let me know what you decide so I'll know which way and where to go.

I am moving right along on my "thingy" check it out. But I don't know anything about that template business. I would like to put the name of my company or deer or horses or something Texas. I'll ask Dale how he did it. I don't have Photoshop or whatever they were talking about. Let me know if you like my colors. All suggestion will be appreciated. I didn't go to bed until late last night - working on that darn thing - this has to stop. Hey I did a really nice place up in Wimberly today; they said they got my name from Google. I've been doing quite a few inspections lately up in Wimberly, nice up there.

Oh! Have you noticed since we put this new "thingy" on that our pictures have moved?

Judi - You just found a job for Ceil - she is the Queen of "negotiations". She has taken every course that has ever been offered on "negotiations". I'm afraid she will want to cut that Budget. Maybe we can form a corportion, TEX & MISS MOLLY Corporation, and sell stock in the company. Remember, one day TEX & MISS MOLLY may have some little  TM's  and they will be very valuable.

Does TEX and MSS MOLLY have a last name?

Carl, I think we've "hi-jacked" Miz Liz's post -- not that she'd mind.  hehe

A planning party would be fun!!!  Guess we need to check with Miz Liz about all meeting at her house for a planning meeting.  I can be at her house on the 28th of April.  I'm busy this weekend.  But was planning to visit with her on the 28th anyway!!!

I guess you're going to give us a budget and expect us to stick to it?  Goooood Luck trying to keep Miz Liz and Ms Judi within budget for any kind of party -- much less the wedding of the year!!!

You're doing a great job customizing your blog.  Looks really nice.  I obviously need to work on mine once Fiesta is over.  I want a nice heading.  I don't have photoshop either -- but thinking about buying it.  If/when I get it figured out, you know I'll help you get yours the way you want it.

Things are busy right now -- 2 Buyer's contracts, 1 in option period; the other being negotiated.  And an offer coming in tomorrow on one of my listings.  Plus, clients in holding pattern waiting for me to find them the house of their dreams!!!  And 3 more listings to sell!!!
