July 4th Fireworks around Atlanta 2014!
There are many actives in and around Atlanta on the 4th of July. Fireworks will light up the skies all over metro Atlanta. There will be live music, games, food, and much more in venues like cities, towns, parks, and malls throughout Atlanta and the surrounding area. Below is a few events happening in and around Atlanta and most are free.
City of Atlanta:
- 4th of July at Centennial Olympic Park. Gates open at 6 pm and fireworks begin around 9:45 pm. This event is Free. Centennial Olympic Park: 265 Park Ave W, Atlanta
The Surrounding Atlanta area:
- 4th of July at Lenox Square. Events start at 6 pm "Atlanta's Next Start, 6:45 pm is Journey Tribute Band, 7:30 pm is Party on the Moon, and fireworks start at 9:40 pm.
- 4th of July Celebration & Summer Kids' Zone at East Point, GA is on July 5th, 2014. This event is full of fun for the whole family with merchandise vendors, musical performances, and a food court. Fireworks will start at 9:30 pm.
- 4th of July at The Mall of Georgia. Kids Zone opens at 5 pm. The Brent Gafford Band will perform from 5 pm to 7 pm. Fireworks will begin at dusk.
What to bring:
- Cool clothing, it will be hot
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Rain Cost or umbrella
- Bring plenty of drinking water
- Lots of patience for big crowds.
