As Americans we like to celebrate the things that make us special.
We have cake with numbered candles on our birthdays.
We have the World Series and Superbowl to celebrate championship athletes.
And we have the best reason of all to celebrate as Americans – our freedom!
July 4th is a combination of many of the things we hold dear to us, things that make us special.
It’s the birthday of our nation, our freedom and a time to thank those superior “athletes” our soldiers.
Our celebrations include hot dogs, watermelon and of course an evening of fireworks.
