On June 23, 2014, Jed Smith and Gay Cororaton of NAR reported on the Realtor confidence index survey conducted from June 2-6, 2014, for May 2014.
The survey showed 27.0% were first time buyers in May of 2014, lower from 29.0% first time buyers in April of 2014, cash buyers purchased 32.0% of all sales same as 32.0% in April of 2014, investors acquired 16.0% of sales in May of 2014 fell from 18.0% in April 2014, distressed sales were 11.0% of all sales in May 0f 2014 decreased from 15.0% in April of 2014, a median 47 days on market in May 2014 compare to 48 day in April 2014, home prices expected growth 4.0% in next 12 months same as 4% from previous month.
