Collecting Scout Uniforms for Kids! Donate an Old Uniform
You know that box in the attic or closet of Johnny’s old scout uniform. Let me clue you in, he will never want it again.
And, rather than keep it for memories, let a kid who can’t afford one wear it today!
So many families want their kids in the Scouts, and, remember the kid who didn’t even have the shirt? Kids notice these things.
Do someone a big favor and donate your old uniform(s), Pilgrim Cleaners is helping out in its Elk River location.
Pilgrim is hosting its seventh annual communitywide used uniform collection campaign during the month of July.
Northern Star Council appreciates all who contribute to this effort and is pleased to work with Pilgrim Cleaners, a community-minded business based in Brooklyn Park, that started the original “Coats for Kids” program 28 years ago, as well as additional uniform collection drive sponsors ECM-Sun Newspapers and KARE 11.
For more information, call the Northern Star Council at 763-231-7201.
And thanks, you know some child will have a big smile on his face with the uniform that is growing old and musty in your house or garage!
