Have you Been Nourishing Your Inner Child Lately?

One way to help let go of stress and relive yourself from those pesky blockages is to nourish that inner child of yours.

Let's be honest, how many of us do this? Let that be to go outside and play or in other words do things that we find fun and bring joy to our lives; in a healthy way.

Surveying people in general, I'd say most seem pretty stressed out at times. In fact New York City has been recognized for being one of the rudest and I believe most stressed out city in America (not the best thing to be awarded). Take a look at the photo above, I think I see one person kinda smiling.

Yet the positive is, at any point in time people can change.

When the inner child is happy and at play the creative juices will flow with more ease. Space will be made for your spirit (higher self) to open up which means action will follow because inspiration and motivation has arrived.  Another way to nurture that inner child is to simply laugh and that includes laughing at yourself.  Have fun in life!

These are just fast insights in how to enhance the connection with one's inner child.  There is only so much time we have here on Earth-make the best of it.

Yikes.  That picture gives me the creeps.  I can't imagine living like that.  Fort Wayne gets crowded from time to time, but nothing like that.

Your post is right on target  . . . . we all get stressed out and have to find a way to distress.

Good luck and success.

When the inner child is happy and at play the creative juices will flow with more ease - this is so true.  I try to find something to start the day that makes me feel happy. My inner child has been ignored for way too long.

Geez.  And I am constantly being told I need to grow up...seriously though,  good post.  I think we all maybe take ourselves too seriously a lot of the time.

Laura - You are so right.  Being happy, having the right attitude and bringing out your inner child is so positive and rewarding.  It helps you in everything you do.

Your image puts the finger on what is missing, wrong, needing adjustment. No space. Shoulder to shoulder, elbow's trading paint like NASCAR round and round with three high and wide, handsome in those left hand circles. Crowded, noisy, pushing, shoving and smelly. Folks with blank expressions, don't get involved detachment like elevator mode. Often in the dark. shadows, under layers of smog. And just no natural light, sunshine long shadows of the season, no stars. Pollution on all levels. Air, water, light, etc. No quiet to hear yourself think. Oh sure maybe a park here, if you don't get mugged jogging, biking.

Sadly eight out of ten people live in a city, urban area. There was a time when 96% of use were independent, on wide open acreage, space, country and farmed, did not rely on an oil or gas truck for heat... TTTttttimber! Wood from the land to heat your bones, houses. Home made food better than the city deli from gram... three generations under one roof... open porches for therapy and not 55 minute paid sessions with a total stranger to "feel better". Or for direction to rechannel, capture your thoughts. Less self centered and more all about others.

The most important home I sell is YOURS!

I went to a mall in Houston yesterday to purchase a bed.  It was this crowded.  I honestly felt so claustrophobic that, once my purchase was made, I had to leave.  Guess I'm getting old, but my inner child is having more fun these days!
