The Middletown concert series is a fantastic activity for the whole family to enjoy. The Sunday afternoon concerts are held monthly in Wetherby Park (11803 Old Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40243), a short walk from some of the shops on Main Street. Beginning in May, the Middletown concert series runs through October 5th. Each show starts at 5:30pm. Along with the music, Middletown’s own Lions Club and Leos offer free food at each gathering for all those in attendance. So, gather up the family, bring your blankets and lawn chairs, and then head down to Middletown for some good food and great music!
On July 20th, Bluegrass 101 will hit the stage. They are well-known throughout the region as one of the best true Bluegrass bands. Their impressive harmonies and professional performance will have you cheering for more!
On August 17th, come and experience the Doo Wop All Stars. This Louisville favorite will take you back to the good old days with music from the 60's and 70's. Show up to the concert ready to dance!
On September 14th, the Joey Constantine Band will make an appearance. This band offers a unique country sound that will have your toes tapping the moment they take the stage.
On October 5th, the concert begins at 4pm instead of 5:30pm. A new Middletown group, Face to Face Trio, will kick off the Church concert for the evening. Prepare to hear some amazingly talented voices.
