Daddy Daughter Walk Week

I agree Debbie and John. Any time that you can spend it with your children is very special. As we get older each has more impact on us. Especially when they are grown and still have a chance to see them, talk and to get a hug from them. Wonderful blessing.

I did not know about Daddy Daughter Walk Week. I will need to borrow a daughter for this occasion.

Hi John,  I think everyday should be daddy daughter day.  Great reminder to Look Up and pay attention to those before your eyes.

I LOVE IT, now to just get my daughter to put down the phone and do it. We did take  agreat walk on the beach last weekend and as we were walking in the water, no phone for her to stare at. 

Good morning, John -- it sounds like a pretty good idea to turn off your cell phones,   step back from technology and get back to the reality of the relationships that matter.   Imagine that.  Just for a little while...I bet each of our lives could do that...

John- that is so sweet and I love the photo!!!   It would be a major achievement just to get both daughter and dad to put down the smartphone. 

John, I had no clue there was such a thing.  I'd like to think that we don't need to dedicate a day or a week for dedicated time to spend with loved ones. Life does tend to pull us in many directions ... often times creating challenges that prevent many from shutting down, turning off and tuning in to life and the people that matter the most.

Hi John - what a lovely idea!   I used to take lots of walks with my Dad as a kid - and a young adult.  It's nice thinking back to those quiet moments with just my Dad and me!

What a brilliant idea John and thank you for making me aware of this.  Now, maybe that means there is a mother and son walk around the corner?

John, I've never heard of this either!  My daughter and I used to take walks around our neighborhood when she was younger, but later we graduated to golfing together...gotta admit I preferred the later!  I think she did as well.

Ahhhh......how sweet.  I guess you wouldn't have time for much of that these days, John!  Take Dixie for a walk!

This is a great idea. I think my daughter is a little too old for me to take her for a walk! 

John  That is so nice .I was not aware of that either . What a nice way to spend a few hours taking a walk with your daughter or even a few minutes out of your day .

Good evening John. I did not know about this week either. Too bad that "they" have to designate a week to do what men should be doing as part of fatherhood.

Hi John! Very meaningful image for the Daddy, Daughter Walk Week. I printed out a 12 x 10 for one of my daughters. She usually walks/runs 5 miles daily. She loved the picture and is framing it for her wall beneath her large Angel picture. Her Daddy died of pancreatic cancer in 1989. Thank you, John. That's the way to spread the love.
