The Orinda real estate market has been on an upward trend on most fronts, though June slowed down a bit, which is the case for many other Bay Area cities. The median sale price is down 8% year over year, from $1,400,000 in June 2013 to $1,286,065 in June 2014. And unlike continued monthly increases in Orinda’s median sale price, June dipped about 7%. Nothing to fret about but up until now, we have only seen increases in the median price since the beginning of the year. Another decrease in June were the number of properties sold. Again, nothing major but a decrease of 3%. When comparing June 2013 to June 2014 almost all areas took a slight dip. Summer is always a busy time for Orinda real estate so possibly things will be on the upward trend by the end of July.

It’s time to sit back and unwind at the FREE summer concerts at the park series for 2014! Sponsored by the Orinda Community Center Auxiliary (OCCA) Supported by the Orinda Parks and Recreation Foundation, Orinda Community Foundation, and City of Orinda.
Concerts are most Tuesday nights, 6:30-8:30pm at the Orinda Community Center Park, 28 Orinda Way.
