Real Estate Connect, SF - You Are Planning On Being There, Aren't You?

sf connect

Let's quote Bob Stewart, shall we? "If you miss the next Inman in July in San Francisco (or if that's too far and you miss the one a year from now in New York) you are crazy!!"

What did I learn at Inman?

I can't tell you what an incredible experience this past January's Real Estate Connect, meeting fellow Active Rainers and absorbing a wealth of information about blogging, social networking and the real estate industry. I spoke with Matt Heaton yesterday and he assured me there will be an AR gathering, but no formal plans have been drawn up yet. By the way, Matt, congratulations on being the only member with more than 1,000,000 points!

Prices will be going up April 5, so if you're planning on going, make your reservations now. I look forward to seeing you in San Francisco this July.

Hi Tom -- I still don't understand what I am paying for with the different price levels, workshop only, etc.  I just can't find anything that describes the conference price levels.  It would be fun to go!

Tom - I am going to do everything in my power to make the trip, hope to see you there.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for posting this about Connect SF! Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Just to clarify for AR members - the full conference runs Wed afternoon through Fri morning and includes all the general sessions, Keynote (Merlin Mann) and breakout panels.

The workshops (Bloggers Connect, Internet Marketing, Foreclosures) run independently of the full conference on the Wed. morning before the main sessions kick off.

A workshop admission does not get you into the full conference; likewise a conference admission does not get you into a workshop. The full package gets you in to the full conference plus one workshop of your choosing.

Some details here http://www.inman.com/events/real-estate-connect-san-francisco-2008/conference-program

But we'll have more details as things firm up.

But if anyone has any questions by all means, email me at joel@inman.com

Elaine - I'm glad Joel was able to clear that up for you. You weren't the first to ask.

Sardi - My fingers are crossed. Would someone from Portland be joining you?

Missy - What do you think the chances are of me missing BarCamp?

Joel - Thanks for clearing up the confusion. Feel free to post in this group any time!

Tom, you know that I would love to go, but I just don't think it's in the cards for this year.

Brian - Don't make me resort to blackmail ;-)

Missy - What can I say? I have a reputation to live down to.

Bill & Barbara-Jo - If activity continues the way it has, NY next year shouldn't be a problem. It would be great to meet you.
