Part 1 - An Introduction  

For many people that either move or purchase a second property in the South Florida area fishing is one of the main reasons for selecting Jupiter. When I left the corporate world I spent six months looking for the ideal combination of Fishing, Lifestyle, Weather, and business opportunities.  When it comes to Fishing - Jupiter is as good as anywhere I have ever found.  This series of post will provide information about the fishing in and around Jupiter Florida.  We are blessed with such a great variety of fishing opportunities.

Over the next several weeks I will create post on the following:

Fishing the Intracoastal and Loxahatchee River - Jupiter has some great inshore fishing if you know where to fish.  We have one of the best Snook fisheries in Florida.

Saltwater Fishing from the Shore - this will include Surf Fishing, Fishing at the Jupiter Jetty and also fishing at the nearby Juno Beach Pier.

Near-shore Fishing - Paradise Defined - within minutes of the Jupiter Inlet we have access to an incredible fishery for Kingfish, Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, and a host of others.  If you prefer bottom fishing you will enjoy the areas Yellowtail, Mutton Snappers, Groupers and the rest.

Offshore Fishing - Heading way offshore - this post will include information about fishing for Dolphin way offshore and also provide some resources for pursing the Sword fishing opportunities in the area.
