Happy Facebook Fridays, Rainers!
Ya'll are a fascinating bunch! I often get sent emails about this or that concerning FB but 2 of the things that have stuck out recently are:
a) Those that ask me not to showcase their Facebook Fan Page yet because it "is not ready". With the exception of 2-3 pages I have visited, the rest are certainly ready to be seen by the public (don't worry, I always heed your request). Your page does not have to be perfect, just functional to reach and have an influence on consumers.
b) I am also asked how I come up with 5 new Rainers to showcase each week. About 80% of the time I "stumble" across them while checking out profiles, following a comment, or just perusing the general AR thread. About 15% come from posts I bookmark each week so I can catch up on my reading as time permits. The remainder are either left in the comments of my weekly post or are emailed directly to me. That's the formula for my FB secret sauce! ;-)
Once again this week, instead of a common theme, I have decided to provide a little variety with the Facebook tips below. You will find a blend of easy to follow tutorial style content, general information, and even an advanced look at segmentation (sorry no tutorial). Read the content and try one, some, or all of the tips, I know you will find something that can help improve your fan page presence on this list.
