Growing up near the playground and enjoying it whether for recess, afternoons or on the weekends helped develop our physical sides while simply having fun. Start out on the baby swings then work your way up to the jungle jim (Gym) or monkey bars. We might even test our skills at jumping off the BIG swings to see who could jump the farthest.
We all did this throughout our elementary school days and after six years, a thousand bumps & bruises and maybe a broken arm or two, we never encountered or could conceive that the foregoing would even be attempted for obvious reasons. Back then we dealt with the "new" math and I guess this generation is pushing the "new" science and physics envelope. I can understand a fascination with Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette from an education standpoint but behavior like this can only result with the command of "Off with their heads!"
Do me a favor, STOP anyone from doing this if you can or at least find someone who will!
