Machu Picchu Pix Part 2

More on Machu Picchu, as it was an incredible trip, and I wish I had spent more time there.

It's been difficult winnowing down my 300+ shots to get to a good core - and that does not include my guy's 300+ shots!

This is they tipical (Peruvian spelling!) of their agave plants, isn't it amazing?

These are handcarved steps at Machu Picchu - these were most likely hand hewn with bronze tools.

And, this is the main city gate - look at the lintel, it's massive!

These water fountains are all over Machu Picchu - once again, possibly down with bronze tools, but all manual effort to create!

Doris:Yes, we did walk to the top, I think we did 15 miles on Machu Picchu alone - absolutely incredible!

Mirela: Truly an incredible trip - I'm fortunate this one kind of fell in my lap!

Debbie:  You should ask the owner about a Peruvian delicacy called "cuy" (pronounced CU-EY), and see what he says! We did not try it, but my guy sure wanted to!

Lindsay:Thanks! It's easy to take good shots when the scenery is breathtaking!
