I guess I'm not completely sold on this site yet. Someone please respond so that I know that anyone can read this.

Well first of all you blogged less than 50 words so you missed 200 pts ( you can go back and edit and add more words). Secondly you need to blog on something important, something of value. 3rd this is a place to learn, not only a place to be #1 in your community.
I have been here for about 1.5-2 months. I just got my 5th lead last night. Do most of your blogging to Localism where the GP is. That is where you will get the boost in your local area. I just did 2 blogs today.
Check these out on google:
1. Cherry Wood Estates I'm #7 with my first blog on that Subdivision
2. Ocala Waterway I'm #4 first blog there too. Both of them were market reports...
Ok so you are a Mortgage guy, adapt it. Do houses that are for sale in certain communities and what the mortgages would be given certain criteria. Buddy up with a Realtor and use his/her listings to promote your business, kill 2 birds... you may even get a deal off it!
James, your picture should be professional, not a goofball if you want people to take you seriously and take some time and re-do your profile...there's nothing of value there that I would want to call you about. Step it up dude! That's tough I know but if you listen it will help you!!!

ActiveRain has put me consistently on page one of google for several searches, I have learned all my SEO knowledge here which has helped me get my other blogs and website to page one too. I have received 4 buyer leads just this week from my Localism posts and my AR blog and was able to refer a new seller to a fellow AR member this week

I'm fairly new here also, but I've started to post responses and/or questions to blog postings I find interesting...I like the interaction between Realtors and have referred some of my office members here also...ANY internet presence is a plus when it has your name attached to it and FREE is even better!

James - Again, the more you put in the more you get back. The ONLY downside to this site is that lately we've had some downtime, but probably due to the thousands of new members, and growing by the minute.
I've posted over 100 blogs and have seen increased traffic to the main website for my company, increased phone calls, and I've got a cool way to share information and photos, instantly!
