My clients are very tech savvy and selected me as their Richmond VA Realtor after doing extensive research on the Internet and determining who they felt would best fit the qualities they were searching for in an real estate agent. Searching for a Richmond VA Home for Sale
The buyers had a very strict budget in mind and had narrowed down a particular location. I was very impressed with the home work they had done, even driving past homes I had sent them to consider as not to waste our time nor put the sellers out. They were (and are) very thoughtful.
We went to look at a home for sale in Henrico and they decided immediately this home fit their needs. The house had been on the market for over 44 days but had just experienced a nice price reduction. We ended up in a multiple bid situation with the listing agent asking my clients for their highest and best. Once again, I was proud of them for sticking to their budget and passing on the house.
Moving forward we discovered a charming ranch style home for sale in Glen Allen VA and quickly went under contract. However, the home inspection revealed too many defects to overcome. Again, my clients left emotion at the door and walked away from the property.
Now, at this point, many would be feeling defeated, but not my clients! They moved forward like champs and we discovered this awesome ranch home for sale located in the Woodmont neighborhood of North Chesterfield. The third time was the charm!
The Richmond VA Home Buying Process
Once my clients decided this North Chesterfield property is where they wanted to call home, we quickly went under contract and started the home inspection proceedings. Everything went smoothly and both the seller and my buyers came to a swift agreement. Then the bank ordered the appraisal and all was well! The listing agent, in the meantime, ordered the septic and termite inspection, once again revealing positive results. Both closing companies worked well together, we did our final walk through, and proceeded to a smooth closing!
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a terrific couple and I am looking forward to seeing the home after they put their personal touches on the place!
