Hey Doug, a family member needs to move and they asked me to find an agent. Your name was the first one I thought of.
Over the past 18 months or so I have started systematically calling past clients and other contacts. Apparently a call I made to a former client had netted his name about a year back.
He ended up not moving at the time but he did start to read my ActiveRain posts! When the need for an agent rose, my name was fresh on his mind. What kept him engaged? Yep, my ActiveRain blog!
The lesson is consistent contact keeps the pipeline full. Honestly I should have a called him a bit more often. So what about the property? It's a home with acreage in another state. Guess where I will find the referral agent...
