There is so much beauty around the Washington Metropolitan area. Today, I thought that I'd be taking photos from the other side of the Potomac River at Mount Vernon, but thank heavens for the GPS system on my iPhone, which showed me that I did not want to go to Mount Vernon (on the Virginia side), but to Piscataway National Park, on the Maryland side.
Oh, and the view is wonderful from either place!

Paul, In about half an hour, it would have been even better, with the sun coloring the clouds and the water. But in half an hour, I was on a major highway driving home!
Patricia, That is a beautiful view! I miss being able to see the sun setting over water.
