I have been very upset at some of notices I have been getting from some lenders and funding companies! I myself have an adjustable rate mortgage. They sent me notices in Pink , telling me I better hurryand call them. One statement even looked liked my W2 or 1099 form . At first I thought it was from the IRS or the goverment. Thats what they want u to think. Any way I knew better . Unfortuantely most consumers may not realize this. I called the Dept of state,who said to send them the form.Sure enough they called to say they were sending a CEASE and Desist letter to the company. I urge all to be careful and only use reputable bankers or brokers if u r at all unsure. Be sure to check it out! Hope this Helps!

Ilyse - Yes I seen alot of the Hidden Scare Tatic letters out there that try to trick you thinking they are your current company or just plain scaring you. I seen some letters from other Domain providers trying to trick me thinking its my current domain provider by renewing with them. You did the right move in sending in the letter hopefully we can all contribute in putting a stop to these tatics.

Second, yes they are VERY annoying. I can't stand the junk that comes. They are good at marketing - even enough to get your heartbeat racing at times.
