Beaumont, California.... Have I told you I love you lately?
Serious, Beaumont! Have I told you how much I love you and what I appreciate about you? No? Well, let me count the ways....
First off, Beaumont, you were one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Not so much anymore, because many of your new communities were started after the year 2000, but even so your growth has been healthy and steady.
And while I'm gloating over your growth, let's point out the obvious: You had help growing by the housing boom, but I bring it up because the subsequent crash didn't destroy you, it only validated your need for so much expansion!
Second, even though you grew so much, you never lost that home-town feel! It's like the charm of a movie star that still feels like the girl, or boy, next door even though their movies are the hottest thing in the box office. Nice job staying grounded and not getting full of yourself!
Also, I can't gush over how I love you without talking about your wonderful communities. You have just about everything to offer, like a gated community in Tournament Hills, a PGA golf course community in Fairway Canyon, a local and concentrated community with great parks with the Sundance community, easy freeway access with your Three Rings Ranch community and the simple yet curtly landscaped community in the Oak Valley Greens.
And who can forget about your 55+ communities, which are some of the best I've ever seen, let alone in the surrounding areas! Some that come to mind are Four Seasons, Solera by Del Webb, and even Sun Lakes, which technically is located on the city sideline of Banning, by everyone knows it's considered a part of Beaumont.
Other honorable mentions are:
- Seneca Springs
- Shadow Creek
- Stetson
- Cougar Ranch
- Highland Springs
- The Plantations
And if newer communities aren't your scene the Old Town Beaumont area still carries the charm and established neighborhoods desired. Also a part of Old Town Beaumont is the Antique Row lined up on 6th Street. I always find amazing stuff there!
By the way, don't even get me started about all your beautiful golf courses! Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon, Oak Valley Golf Club, Sun Lakes, Highland Springs Village Golf, etc..
And what about local activities? Beaumont holds the best events! Let's just list them for 
simplicity:
- Movie Night in the Park
- Summer Concert Series
- Market Night
- Oktoberfest (in September, but it's always on my birthday weekend so I'm not complaining!)
- Zombie Walk during Halloween
Not to mention the BEST fireworks show I've ever seen a city put on!
By the way, thank you for providing some of the best schools a city can offer, from kindergarten, elementary, middle school and even the high school not only has the best teachers, curriculum and establishments, but year after year they prove themselves on the national average as well! That alone makes me love you!
Oh, there's much more, but I don't want to dribble on and give you a big head! I think the whole reason I am even saying all of this, Beaumont, California, is really just to reinforce what I've already said:
I love you, Beaumont! Thank you for being the best town for me and my family!
