Updated Shot of My New Townhouse LIstingSummer Storms are Part of the Deal When You Live in Northern Virginia

Walking outside today to take a new exterior photo of a townhouse listing was like walking into a sauna.  So hot and humid I felt like I was breathing water.  The sweat was dripping down my face in an instant and my hair was frizzy in no time. Yet, it was a very beautiful day to take exterior pictures of my listings.

By the time I got home and a couple hours had gone by, the clouds rolled in quickly and the wind whipped up.  We had one of our epic Northern Virginia storms.  My first thought was to get the outdoor kitty inside.  Once that was done, I grabbed my camera and made took some shots.  It's too bad that sheets of water don't translate.

My Trees were bending like crazy and my trash cans were toppled.

Lets shake things up at your home today!

It's very cool watching a summer storm blow in over the lake from my new digs too.

Oh, I know the feeling.  We just recuperated from some damage from last summer!  And, we live in a very protected area.

That would feel so good right now in Sacramento. Yesterday, it was 106, an oven, very very dry and not a drop of water in sight. We don't see rain in the summer until maybe Halloween.

Roger:  I bet that is a striking sight.

Don:  Downed tree limbs are a daily occurrence here lately.

Elizabeth:  It's all that moisture we have in our air that bubbles up into the atomosphere and creates these storms.
