Another Satisfied Client: Congratulations to the New Owners of 10 Sandpiper Green, Weymouth, MA
Congratulations to my clients who closed on the purchase of a new home at Southfield at the beginnng of July. Southfield is a planned community located on the site of the former Navy air station located in South Weymouth, MA. It touches three towns - Abington, Weymouth and Rockland - and is managed by the quasi-municipal authority of South Shore Tri-Town Development Corporation. The community currently consists of town homes, condominiums, single family homes and rental apartments. It has its own MBTA commuter rail station for direct access to Boston, is located close to major highways and has walking and biking trails and plenty of open space. Future development calls for the addition of retail space and future residential development in the 1400 acre community.
These clients contacted me after finding and reading my Active Rain profile! They had worked with another agent but felt that she was not providing the level of representation that they desired. They read my profile and thought I could provide the service they wanted. We looked at several homes but they decided on one of The Cottages at Southfield built by IBG Homes. The Cottages are single family homes, clustered together, with green space common area and tree lined walk ways.
The home they found was nearly complete. With three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a front porch, patio space and an attached garage, this brand new home offered them the indoor and outdoor space they needed, with the conveience of the commuter train to Boston and no outdoor maintenance. I put them in touch with a lender with great rates and service who was able to close their loan purchase on July 1, which was their preferred closing date.
My only disappointment was that I had a previously scheduled vacation that put me out of town on July 1. However, my team member and fellow broker Matt Cummings was able to accompany them to the walk through and make sure that everything was in order for their closing.
New construction is not always easy, and we had some glitches along the way. However, by staying on top of things, communicating with the builders agent and working with a great loan officer, we were able to get things done.
Congratulations to my most recent happy homebuyers! Do you want to be my next satisfied client?
