Husband wife team of Chris Hurley and Jennifer Costello, originally from Boston, are the owners and operators of The Bonneville. They have worked for some of the best chefs and restaurants in the Boston area and Austin is lucky to have them. They are both classically trained in French technique, their style is influenced by flavors from across the globe. Their focus is on the quality, accessibility and availability of ingredients.
What you might find at The Bonneville….from the appetizer menu- creamy bacon & egg ravioli bathed in brown butter with Parmigiano Reggiano or maybe some crispy salt cod fritters with lemon aioli. On the dinner side – how about Provencal style fish stew with spicy piperade, mussels, shrimp, snapper and saffron rouille? Or maybe a fennel & orange dusted seared duck breast with herbed lentils du puy, frisee and orange-anise vinaigrette. If you’re a meat and potatoes kind of person, maybe try the grilled 12oz. Angus NY strip steak with potato croquette, heirloom tomato & avocado salad and salsa verde. For dessert, you can choose from a Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart, Hazelnut Dacquoise with Nutella buttercream and a chocolate ganache.
And, if you’re not able to make it in the evening, stop in Sunday for their delicious Brunch. The Bonneville is open and inviting with a lively bar and friendly service – a casual place where you can grab a quick bite or linger over dinner.
