A flower for Wallace Gibson:  Watermelon Gerbera Daisy

Charlottesville, Virginia real estate professional and ActiveRain blogger Wallace Gibson mentioned that she is selecting flowers for her next year's garden and wants to include daisies.

The flower in this photograph is one of my favorite daisies and I think it would make a great addition to Wallace's home garden. This is a Watermelon Gerbera Daisy. Watermelon refers to the color. These flowers are beautiful in the garden and in arrangements. This is a large daisy. I love to photograph them.

Thank you very much for your comments. The Watermelon Gerbera Dasies were available at our local Lowe's store early in the season. They sell quickly.

Perfect daisy to place in a vase on the kitchen table. We can salute it as we drink our daily watermelon juices. Yep, just started it a week ago after reading all the health benefits in drinking a glass or two per day. Pretty flower, Roy.
