Most home sellers that want to do it themselves are really doing themselves a dis-service.  The only exception might be someone that has sold many many houses in the past.  Otherwise an agent can make all the scenarios that come up so much smoother. 

Good morning, Sharon -- excellent advice -- choosing and listening to professionals will make life less stressful - probably not stress-free but less stressful.   Having people who can give objective advice can lead to a successful sale -- less time on the market and for more money in your pocket.  That's a good pretty combination if you ask me.

Sharon most people do want to hire a professional, in my experience. And there are some tire kickers that generally get what they pay for.  Trust and respect goes a long way with those we hire or those that hire us and it pays off in the short and long run.

If we were ever to sell, I would definitely hire a home stager.  Too bad you live so far away, Sharon.  Could we clone you?

It is as easy as 1, 2, 3 if you hire the right team to guide you through the selling process Sharon. Unfortunately for many buyers we encounter after their house has been on the market for months need to start the process of looking for the right agent to get the results they are looking for. I know you are on the team of many of the right agents, getting the job done and providing a wonderful selling experience for all involved.

The team of professionals may cost a little more upfront, but in the long run, it's saving your sanity! Well worth any incurred cost!

Sharon, Home stagers are there to maximixe the the potential and of course the agent has the data and should know the market. Put the two together and you have a great team.
