Library is located across from the Cinco Ranch High School, just off Cinco Ranch Boulevard. This facility is about one block from Grand Parkway, or Hwy. 99.
Cinco Ranch Branch Library which is part of the Fort Bend County Library System will host a sushi-making demonstration on Saturday July 26, 2014. The demonstration starts at 2 PM and will be held in the meeting room. This is the first instance I have heard of a library holding a sushi demonstration or anything related.
Carl Rosa, founder of the Sushi Club of Houston, will show and instruct the art of making sushi-rolls.Attendees will get the opportunity to learn some things about Japanese culture and learn many new things about sushi. Everyone will get to enjoy some of the delicious sushi.
The demonstration is Free as are all as are virtually all the sessions held at the library. It is open to the public.
Mr. Rosa serves as Director of the Japan-America Initiative whose mission is to increase awareness of japanese culture. In addition, he is a sushi instructor. Obviously Mr. Rossa knows exactly what he is doing and telling you about Japan.
If you want more information call 281-395-1311 or Library’s public information at 281-633-4734.
We have had the tremendous experience of having traveled to Japan. Japanese people are helpful, friendly, intelligent and go out of their way for foreign strangers. The country is fascinating. This demonstration will be one not to miss if you like sushi. We love sushi and other Japanese food!
