As a pile of anything, points don't matter to me. B U T --- Points do matter to me as a measure of striving for a personal best. And tonight, I plan to enjoy achieving this goal before setting the next!
When people call from the internet, Blogging has been one reason - with a quanitiy of posts, our company name rises above the fold", as Bob Stewart refers to it.
If I write a good post - people read it. That's fun.
People will call from time to time with non-real estate questions because they enjoyed my post. Not surprising when I wrote about the new Atlanta Water Reservoir, a woman from Canada concerned about water quality, contacted me.
A bit surprising to get a phone call from Philadelphia asking me to drive about 24 miles round trip to see if her friend was OK. Apparently, they spoke daily and she hadn't reached her for three days. After I "solved" the lack of communication, and reported that the friend was fine, the woman offered to buy a meal for me when she visited Atlanta the next time. She certainly kept her word - she actually called when in Atlanta to complete her offer!
Lots more stories of wonderful people I've met and people I have worked with via AR. I'm so glad to be in the 'Rain!
Flowers from the front yard of a Client's Home I sold - over list - for cash - in four days! Very exciting!
