Sleeping more Soundly Equals more Productivity

Living the Feng Shui lifestyle always promotes understanding the importance and following through balancing yourself between work and play. Those who master this are usually the ones who live a happier life.  Part of this balance is getting a good nights sleep.

As the day comes to a close, try to make an agreement with yourself with turning off your surrounding electronics an hour before bed. Allow your mind to become less stimulated and more calm.

Studies have shown, people who practice this tend to sleep much more soundly which means when they awake the next morning productivity, creativity, etc is much more heightened.

Feng Shui side note: remove electronics from the bed room when you can.

Yes, this is definitely something I need to do more.  I was good about it last night and need to make it a habit.

Couple years ago I started working out very hard and long and made time for it by omitting sleep. Worked great sort of. Lost 23 pounds which I was really happy about but my blood pressure went way up. I talked to the doc and one of his first questions was how much do you sleep. I told him 4-5 hours pere night. He admonished me to be smarter and sleep around 7. I did, and now the BP is about 130 over 80. Lesson learned.
