Pool Party, Anyone? Bring Water and a Towel

Pool Party Anyone? Bring the Water and a Towel

This old concrete, above ground pool was in the backyard of a fixer upper home that I showed to a buyer over the weekend in Melbourne Beach.  I can imagine what it must have been like back in the day, with sparkling water and kids splashing and playing in it.  I wonder if someone will get it up and running again, someday. Will it ever hold water again?

I don't believe that I have ever seen a concrete above ground pool, Sandy.  Looks like this one has been dry for quite a while.

Sandy, it's a shame that we see so many run down houses that in their heyday were beautiful and wonderful homes to lucky families...

Gabe, you know, I don't believe that I had either, until this day. That's why I found it so interesting. I wonder if someone ever decided to refurbish this old thing if it would ever hold water again.  I bet it would be a beauty if it did.

Paul, we do see a number of these that need some serious work.

In our areas, we are beginning to see fewer bank foreclosures than in the last few years. People are buying them and bringing them back to life again. It's nice to see.
