Unique Ways to Follow Up With Prospects!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with RealSupport Inc.

As a Real Estate Virtual Assistant team, we've worked alongside real estate professionals for many, many years. We understand that, oftentimes, the toughest part of the job can be prospect follow-up. Most prospects are used to the standard telephone calls and form e-mails, so getting their attention another way is key for maintaining contact. Instead of a quick, unpersonalized message or call, try these unique ways to follow up with your future clients!

-Neighborhood Property Updates. Send your prospect an update every time a property in the area is put on the market, is sold, has a price reduction and/or goes through the short sale or foreclosure process. Not only will this be helpful to your prospect as it will keep them aware of what's going on in their neighborhood, but it may also light a competitive fire in them to get their property on the market and sold by their goal date.

-Newsletters. The key to having a great newsletter that your prospects and clients will want to read is by including both industry-related articles as well as local items. Industry articles will keep them in the know with what's going on in real estate, finance and lending so they can understand how it relates to them. Local items will keep things personable and fun. Consider issuing a monthly or quarterly newsletter - Our Real Estate Virtual Assistant team manages the newsletter creation and execution for several clients and have found that it's another unique way to remain in contact with prospects and clients throughout the year.

-Case Studies. To be clear, these should be short, succinct anecdotes that discuss a recent, notable listing that you may have had. Sprinkle in as many statistics as you'd like - List price, square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms and what you sold the property for, as well as any issues that you may have had during the process and how they were solved - to show off your professionalism and expertise. Prospects will be wowed and more likely to work with you, knowing what you were able to do and how you were able to mediate problems.

As you can see, there are a number of ways to stay in front of prospects and several original ways to follow up with them and maintain contact! Our Real Estate Virtual Assistant team strives to make our clients' professional lives easier each day - Contact us to discuss how we can help you today.
