Nofolk Says Yes To Smoking

By
Real Estate Agent with Fathom Realty

Norfolk killed its ban on smoking in resturarnts.  Citing concerns about lawsuits and loss of business the council decided not to ban smoking.  I guess money wins over peoples health.

There are sections of our area that have banned smoking.  And that has held up in court.  The businesses haven't complained either since their traffic of customers has increased.

I say let the businesses decide. If they gain customers, great, and if they lose customers, the owners may change voluntarily.

This has been an issue for along time and although I personally don't want to sit directly next to a smoker I feel for the rights of the smoker!! We all have rights and should respect each other with what we as individuals want to do and that includes their health or mine..
