When I was a kid the fair was the event that we waited for all summer.

A time to get away from the farm for a few days, see our friends, maybe take along a special girl.

Also a time to show off our skills with 4-H and FFA exhibits where we could exhibit our prize Cattle, Horses, and other livestock as well as other things like crops, baked goods, sewing, and many more of the things that farm people proudly produce.

And then there was the other Fun stuff, like the carnival, the demo derby, the musical events, horse races and so many other things that are fun to take a date to.

This summer will be a great time to renew some of those memories and create a few more.

Tuesday July 22, 2014.
- Free admission to the fairgrounds
- Entry Day. Judging and public viewing of exhibits not available.
- Tip Top rides and games begin at 5p
- Farm Tractor Pull starts at 7pm
- Grandstand admission $5.00.
- Age 5 and under free.
- No advance ticket sales.
- Entertainment at the Seymour Fire Department Tent:
- Crossing Paths (Rock & Variety) 7pm to 11pm.

Wednesday July 23, 2014.
- Exhibit Entry and judging begins
- Free admission until 4pm
- Tip Top rides and games begin at 4pm
- N.E.W Motor Sports Truck/Tractor Pull and Garden Tractor Pull starts at 7:00pm.
- Admission to grandstand $8.00.
- Age 5 and under free.
- No advance ticket sales
- Does NOT include admission to the fairgrounds.
- Entertainment at the Seymour Fire Department tent:
- Skip the Rocker (Video DJ) 5pm to Midnight

Thursday July 24, 2014
- Tip Top rides and games begin at Noon.
- National country music recording star Easton Corbin in front of the grandstand at 7:30.
- Opening act, Spitfire Rodeo
- Reserved VIP trackside seats $35.00.
- Reserved grandstand seats $30.00.
- Does NOT include admission to the fairgrounds unless purchased in advance.
- The grandstand stage is sponsored by WNCY Y100.
- Entertainment at the Baylake Bank Free Stage, Children’s performers:
