What will you do tonight when the lights are out 8:00pm to 9:00?

Tonight is turn the lights out and we have someone in Ann Arbor, Michigan who has signed up our little part of the Earth in this great feat of awareness. Awareness about what you ask?

Thanks for asking!! Tonight we "would like to raise awareness of a worldwide energy conservation effort called Earth Hour."

Check out this site: http://www13.earthhourus.org/ and you can be the one to sign up your city or town! Wish I could have for my part of Ann Arbor but it has been taken. Someone could still be the person to sign up Dexter, Saline, Chelsea...you get the idea. All of the cities around the country could be included.

Now we have to figure out what to do without artificial lights for one hour. Anyone know where the candles and matches are located. I bet a evening walk could be very interesting if everyone in the neighborhood walks around to say hello while the lights are out.

Enjoy the lack of lights and show your support for another energy conservation effort! If you think of other saving ideas Google might highlight you and your idea.

Won't it be neat if the USA turns off enough lights to make an impact and it keeps moving with the earth's rotation. How cool is this! Wow I hope to watch it from satelite after our hour is up.

Oh darn...It's March madness. Guess they won't be turning off those lights! Hope XU game is over by then.

I will be either a sleep, reading, or having family time. Like who really is going to have their lights off. The importance should be awareness of Salvation and repentance. The end is near.

Karen, I am going to light a candle and read a book. I'm not sure what Josue is smoking, but I think he started early.

Karen, Great post, Denver is participating as well. We are going to have a candlelight dessert with some quality family time. Perhaps we will make it a regular thing!
