We have an agent in our office that over the last 10+ years has made tons and tons of money. He kept to himself mostly, not getting into the culture of our office. He is not stand-offish at all but focused. He just bought an F250 King Ranch 4 door Ford Pickup of which I covet immensely.
I don't know much about his personal life except that I have met his wife and grown son. He may have more children. I don't know.
He has been diagnosed with luekemia. He is doing chemo and we are all hoping for the best.
No matter how much money you make, it doesn't matter in the end. Seeing that so close to home (his office is directly across from mine) it made me realize that no matter how hard or smart I work, or how much money I make, what really matters is how I can care for people on a daily basis.
I have to admit over the years that my family has not always my main focus.
So just remember--IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY
