I'm having a really good day. I went out early with my pups for our daily walk and then had a couple of hours at a local flea market at the Historical Society of a nearby town. Now home, I am getting ready for lunch and thinking about where to put the things I bought. Most days are good, but today is very good. It doesn't take much, just an attitude that embraces joy and values kindness. I hope you are having a really good day too.
Hi Sheila~ It's been a relatively lazy day in my world. Slept late (because I haven't been sleeping well), husband made breakfast (yum), wrote a blog post and started a load of laundry. Next on the agenda...a shower, lunch, a wedding and a backyard picnic! It'll be a great day!
Today is shaping up to a be a good one to relax and enjoy the sun and the unusually mild temps.
Good afternoon friends and thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and offering your support: I really appreciate it.
Hello Donna. Sounds good to me Donna. I hope you enjoy the wedding and The backyard picnic. Are they related or different events? Anyway, I'm sure they will be fun.
Hi Kathy. I agree with you. Attitude is always the most important thing. Thank you for affirming mine. It means a lot. Enjoy your day.
Hello Chris Ann. It is beautiful here: not too warm or too much humidity. When the weather is good, it is easy to be happy and find something or nothing to do. Enjoy the day.
Sheila
Hello Sheila,
Yes, every day is good - but some days are very good. So happy to hear that you are having another very good one. Enjoy your new treasures, flea market finds are always fun!
Hello Lisa. I found some neat things: a beautiful old box with brass hinges marked Keystone, an art deco pink glass dish, an old glass bottle, and old miniature oil can, a framed art print. Lots of fun. I hope your day is going well too. Sheila
I am glad that the flea market went well for you, Sheila. And, your pups got some exercise, too!
Hi Ron. It was a good day, thank you. Bought a lot for $30.00 and my pups always enjoy a good walk. Thank you. Sheila
Hello Sheila,
We have similar eyes - these items sound just like treasures that would have caught my eye as well. In our home we are in "toddler" stage with Holly...just as with real children, except we are having to move some items out of tail wagging height!
Hello again Lisa. Come and visit and we can put our eyes to the test. Holly is a special gift and better than a thing or two. Sheila
It sounds like a great day. Just doing normall things but really enjoying them. Thanks for the post.
Sheila~ We went to the wedding at 2 and it was HOT! They had a reception at the church and we sat strategically in front of the huge fan. We were still hot. We were so tired from being hot that opted not to go to the backyard picnic and just went home to crash!
