We were out on the land this week- showing acreage for conservation. So we didn't make our usual weekly visit to Brother Wolf, the No Kill animal shelter and organization here in Asheville, North Carolina. In addition to offering services to the community - including free spay/neuter assistance and a pet food pantry - and the Behavioral Counseling and Youth Education programs help promote a better understanding of, and respect for, companion animals and each other. We are especially fond of the
Outward Hounds Hiking Club
Even though the summer has been a busy one, we were able to make it over to Edna's Cafe to visit the dogs who were there on Saturday...
and found "MAGIC" in the smile of a dog who had just been "surrendered"... I took a photo of TUCKER..."enhanced" it with the glow he had... and thought...wouldn't it be nice if he found a home real soon... .
If you you love animals as much as we do and want to help them you can make a difference for the over 550 animals at Brother Wolf Animal Rescue RIGHT NOW. (1) Adopt- Our adoption center is open 7 days a week (9am-7pm) located at 31 Glendale Ave in Asheville.! Go to www.bwar.org/volunteer
