Last week I was treated to a private Realtor tour of the 14,000 acre paradise known as Wolf Creek Ranch. The ranch is located just 20 minutes from Park City and 40 minutes from Salt Lake City and yet is a world apart from anything else you will see in the area.
Each of the 84 lots here are 160 acres in size and can accommodate a main home, guest/caretaker's home and barn. All 84 lots have been sold but there are a number of resale homes and lots available. Each owner will be allowed a 10 acre building envelope to place their structures and this area can be fenced. The rest of the lot must stay open to provide for migration areas for the large number of different wildlife species found at the ranch.

The topography is rolling and heavily wooded in some areas with many open meadows in others. Roughly 70% of the land is covered with aspen and juniper trees with 10% mountain fir and oak. Another 20% is open meadow and sagebrush. The views are spectacular and range from Heber Valley/Timpanogos views to Uinta Mountain views.
There is also a 7 mile common border with the Uinta National Forest and several access gates in which owners and their gates can enjoy that 2.2 million acre playground.
Elevations here range from 6,900 to 9,000 feet with an average elevation of between 7,500 and 8,000 feet.
Wolf Creek Ranch does have a 22 acre common area with a ranch center, and owner guest home. There is also a mile of Upper Provo River frontage. There are also 4 yurts located throughout the property on the 60 mile private trail system.
Wolf Creek Ranch is a unique property in the Park City area and anyone looking for a bit of solitude and room to roam should definitely take a look here. Keep in mind you can be in Park City in about 20 minutes from the gates of the ranch.
